Kelsei Contento
Fall 2025
Chapter President
Potential New Member,
Hi! My name is Kelsei Contento and I am so proud to serve as the President of Delta Alpha Chi in the Fall of 2025. My journey with DAX began in Fall ‘23 my sophomore year. I joined during COB, after my now Big, Bailey, reached out to me through the Delta Alpha Chi Instagram account. I had never heard of DAX or envisioned myself joining a sorority but it is truly the best decision I made at FSU. I have made friends and connections that I can confidently say will last me a lifetime.
As I start to lead this organization, the idea of sisterhood and building a home away from home stands out to me. Delta Alpha Chi is a home away from home. You will hear during rush week that you are “running home” to DAX. This home is a group of Christ-centered women who support each other through all of the highs and the lows. We were founded because 16 women decided to create a space for Christianity within the Greek community at FSU. We aspire to walk with one another wherever we are in our journeys with Christ, and through our time at Florida State and on. It is my goal as President to motivate and support my sisters on our way to authentic sisterhood. Life is difficult and gets in the way sometimes. No sister has it all together and we don’t expect them to. If you step outside your comfort zone and allow yourself to open up to the real meaning of sisterhood amazing things can happen.
Psalms 31:24 says “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Taking heart simply implies courage so take heart and say yes to Delta Alpha Chi. It’s a yes to a forever home. It’s a yes to endless laughter and lasting memories. Finally, it’s a yes to amazing women that I would have not met without DAX.
As you search for your place here on FSU’s campus and for that sense of community that you desire, I hope it’s here with us.
As we move forward, one in Christ,
Kelsei Contento
